In a significant collaborative effort, York Regional Police recently charged an individual in a multi-year human trafficking investigation spanning Vaughan and the wider Ontario area. VSY plays a critical role in these cases by providing immediate “on-scene” support to survivors who are rescued or come forward, helping them navigate the transition to safety and providing long-term referrals for recovery.
