Who We Are
Victim Services of York Region is a not-for-profit, charitable organization that works in partnership with the York Regional Police and the Aurora detachment of the O.P.P.
Our mission at VSY is to provide responsive, supportive and coordinated services to assist persons affected by crime or tragic circumstance.
Our vision is to support and create a better future for people impacted by crime and tragic circumstances.

What We Do
We are a crisis intervention agency providing trauma-informed and trauma-focused support.
We assist with cognitive & emotional processing in the immediate aftermath of crime and tragic circumstance.
We provide practical assistance and connections to community referrals.

We believe every person experiences the impact of a crime or tragedy in a unique way.
